i had a great time exploring Chicago with Toni + Marcus today.
after visiting the Loop we spent some time in Millenium Park.
although things got chilly later in the day, Toni + Marcus were great sports about it.
the Crown Fountain (designed by Jaume Plensa) features 1,000 faces captured by students at the School of the Art Institute.
thanks Toni + Marcus for being so much fun to hang out with–i can’t wait for July!

Kirstie Kelly’s Disney Fairytale Weddings Fall 2009 Collection

what a night!
tonight i attended Kirstie Kelly’s unveiling of her Fall 2009 Disney Fairytale Weddings Collection.
as part of the collection, Kirstie also presented some stunning bridesmaid’s dresses too.
Live Wire Band, which is one of my favorite bands, was the house band for the night.

last night i helped out my friend Mariann Szucs of Blue Daisy Weddings with Danielle + Peter’s wedding at the fantastic Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle, NY (which is only minutes from my home and one of my favorite venues to work at).

Elena + Isaac’s wedding

Elena + Isaac had a little drama with the weather today but everything worked out perfectly.
Adam and his crew at the West Park Winery did a fantastic job taking care of everyone–i’m looking forward to working with them again soon.
Elena + Isaac are off to Costa Rica for their honeymoon.

Annie + Dan’s wedding

although Annie + Dan met while in college in Madison, WI, Dan’s been working in Germany while Annie’s finished up graduate school at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore.
they figured that the best place to exchange their vows would be at the the Riverside Yacht Club in Riverside, CT, where grandpa Jerry was once a commodore and Dan’s grandma Ann could officiate.
Courtney and her team at the Yacht Club did a spectacular job as usual taking care of every detail.
and they couldn’t have picked a better day–it was more like August than October.
