Congratulation to Rosie + Rick who were married today at the Brooklyn Tabernacle in Brooklyn, NY

Rickie's Crew

I started out with Rick, his family and his groomsmen at his house in Brooklyn.

Rick

Although we only had a few minutes before we had to get to the chapel, we made the most of it and had a great time getting some fun portraits.

Solomon

At the chapel we hooked up with Solomon, who really enjoyed being their ringbearer.

Rosie + Rick's ceremony

It was a beautiful ceremony presided over by Rosie + Rick’s good friends Brian and Christopher.

After the ceremony we made our way to The Chart House in Weehawken, NJ, which features some of the best views of Manhattan.

Pelham Picture House Gala

Tonight I had the privelege of working at a Gala for The Picture House Regional Film Center in Pelham, NY.

Picture House Regional Film Center Model

The historic Pelham Picture House was built in 1921 and is the only remaining single-screen theater in Westchester County. Money raised at the Gala will go towards transforming The Picture House into the Picture House Regional Film Center.

The sold out Gala was held in the ballroom of the Rye Brook Hilton in Rye Brook, NY.

Lasse Hallstrom & Leslie Holleran Accept Award

At the Gala, the Harold Lloyd Awards for Excellence in Film Creation were presented by author John Irving to the Directing/Producing team of Lasse Hallstrom and Leslie Holleran–who have brought us “Chocolat,” “The Cider House Rules,” “The Shipping News” and most recently “Casanova.”

Peter Bogdanovich Watches Movie Clips

Peter Bogdanovich, the Oscar-winning director of “The Last Picture Show,” presented the Harold Lloyd Award for Excellence in Film Performance to Mamaroneck native-son Matt Dillon.

Matt, who’s films include “The Outsiders,” “Drugstore Cowboy,” “There’s Something About Mary” and his Golden Globe-nominated role in “Crash,” was discovered while attending Hommocks School in Mamaroneck and talked about his Westchester roots.

The event was one of the best that I’ve ever been a part of or attended (especially for such a large number of guests) so props to Rhiannon O’Leary of JFM2 Productions for doing such a great job organizing things.

Katrina + Taylor’s Engagement

January 15, 2006 | Filed Under portraits | Leave a Comment

I spent this afternoon with Katrina and Taylor, who were in New York for the long weekend staying with friends in Tribeca and finishing up the arrangements for their wedding on April 22nd.

We met at the Waldorf-Astoria, where they’ll have their reception, and walked next door to St. Bartholomew’s, where they’ll be getting married, and took a few portraits outside.

Katrina + Taylor in Central Park

Although it was pretty windy at times and more than a little chilly, Katrina + Taylor just snuggled up as we made our way up to Central Park.
