today I was lucky to finish my weekend working with my good friend Neil van Niekerk of One Perfect Moment Photography at Stef + Matt’s wedding.
Stef did an incredible job coordinating the details for their wedding, which included a custom runner.
Stef and Matt exchanged vows in the amazing garden at the Valley Regency in Clifton, NJ.
one of the highlights of the evening was watching the staff prepare cherries jubilee.

Jeeny + Oscar’s wedding

what an amazing day!
i spent my day with Jeeny + Oscar and their families and guests at Woodcliff Manor in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
Jeeny and Oscar were born in Ecuador and Panama respectively but met at work in Rego Park. despite Jeeny’s mistaken first impresssion, they eventually became friends and found that they had a lot in common.
they went on their first date a couple of months after meeting and have been together since then. last summer Oscar proposed to Jeeny at the Grand Canyon as the sun set.
today was a perfect day for an outdoor ceremony and Jeeny + Oscar exchanged their vows (which they wrote themselves) in the garden.
Jeeny’s inspired decision to have green parasols were great for keeping cool and a beautiful accent too.
i was very lucky to have Megan Farley, one of my best friends and also one of my favorite photographers, helping me out today.

back to the big onion for Giuliana + Bill’s engagement party

this evening i had a great time covering an engagement party for Giuliana DePandi (E! News anchor extraordinaire) and Bill Rancic (the first winner of “The Apprentice“).
Giuliana + Bill came back to Chicago to celebrate with friends and family at Altitude on the top floor of the W Hotel Lakeshore.
Rolanda and her team at the W did a phenomenal job attending to each detail while creating an amazing atmosphere for their guests to relax and enjoy themselves.
this exceptional orchids & butterflies sculpture created for Giuliana + Bill is one of the most original pieces i’ve ever seen.
Congratulations to Giuliana + Bill, who are getting married in Ravello, Italy this September.
